I saw this article posted in one of my Facebook groups, so this credit is not necessarily for me for finding the article.
When women want to truly be equal, and independent minded, they would act and hold up to the same standards that men do. And, they would expect to go to prison if something like this happens to them. And not avoiding it because she happens to be a woman. Something tells me that her friends are saying how "empowered," she is rather than saying how evil she is for doing something so harmful and assaulting a man.
If a man did this to a woman, in the United States, he would be locked in jail for decades of his life.
The article then talks to go on how the boyfriend manipulated HER, instead of her being the psychotic bitch. The judge thought she was "charming," and let her off without even consideration of jail time. What a world we live in, where someone could be physically assaulted.
This, is what gender discrimination really looks like.
Oh, and did I mention she was both drunk and high?
